What is Windows 11?

Windows 11 presents a calm and creative environment in which to explore your hobbies through a new experience. From a redesigned Start menu to new ways to interact with your favorite people, news, games, and entertainment, Windows 11 is the place to think, express, and create naturally.

Windows has always existed to serve as a platform for global innovation. It has served as the backbone of multinational corporations and as a platform for scrappy startups to become household names. Windows gave birth to and raised the web. It's where many of us sent our first email, played our first PC game, and coded our first line. Windows is the platform on which over a billion people today rely to create, connect, learn, and accomplish. 

 

We don't take the responsibility of creating for so many people lightly. We moved from fitting the PC into our lives to attempting to fit our whole lives into the PC over the last 18 months, which has resulted in an enormous shift in how we use our PCs. Our gadgets were not just where we went for meetings, classes, and getting things done; they were also where we went to play games with pals.

 The transformation in the PC that we saw and felt was really profound - from something utilitarian and useful to something personal and emotional. This is what motivated us to create the next iteration of Windows. To provide a familiar environment in which you may create, study, play, and, most importantly, interact in novel ways.

Today, I am honored and delighted to present you with Windows 11, the operating system that brings you closer to the things you care about.

Now you can install and play android apps in windows 11 without any software 

Windows 11 is offering built-in features to go smooth with apps.

 

We've streamlined the design and user experience to boost productivity and encourage creativity. It's contemporary, fresh, clean, and lovely. Everything, from the new Start button and taskbar to every sound, typeface, and icon, was designed with the goal of putting you in control and instilling a sense of serenity and comfort. We put Start in the middle and made it simpler to find what you're looking for.

Start uses the power of the cloud and Microsoft 365 to display your recent files regardless of what platform or device you were viewing them on previously, including Android and iOS devices. 

Windows has always been about allowing you to work the way you choose by allowing you to open several windows and snap programs side by side. Snap Layouts, Snap Groups, and Desktops are new in Windows 11 to give an even more powerful method to multitask and remain on top of what you need to get done. These are new features meant to assist you in organizing and optimizing your windows. 

These are new features meant to help you arrange your windows and optimize your screen real estate so you can see just what you need in a visually clean layout. You may also build various Desktops for different aspects of your life and personalize them to your taste — for example, you might have a Desktop for work, gaming, and education.

 

When Did windows 11 Launched 

Windows 11 has been launched on 24 June 2021

Processor         1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with 2 or more cores on a compatible 64-bit processor or System on a Chip (SoC)

Memory           4 GB RAM

Storage            64 GB or larger storage device

System firmware         UEFI, Secure Boot capable

TPM    Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0

Graphics card  DirectX 12 compatible graphics / WDDM 2.x

Display            >9” with HD Resolution (720p)

Internet connection     Microsoft account and internet connectivity required for setup for Windows 11 Home

 Upgrade Windows 10 to Windows 11

 Beginning this Holiday season, Windows 11 will be offered as a free update for eligible Windows 10 PCs and for new PCs. Visit Windows.com and download the PC Health Check app to see if your existing Windows 10 PC is eligible for the free upgrade to Windows 11. We're also working with our retail partners to ensure that Windows 10 PCs purchased today are ready for the Windows 11 upgrade. The free upgrade. The free upgrade will begin rolling out to eligible Windows 10 PCs this Christmas season and will continue until 2022. And, starting next week, we'll start sharing an early copy of Windows 11 with the Windows Insider Program - this is a dedicated group of Windows enthusiasts whose feedback we value.
